Mabul Island Day 1

 i alwiz wanted to pay a visit to east malaysia but i alwiz find no time n no idea which state should i go...
last year, i've saw a photo album of my friend at FB whereby he pay a visit to sabah, mabul island...
this place attract me so much n i decided to go this year...
so i 've boook 2 flight to fly over there n enjoy the beautiful n relaxing island...
v book the flight during Airasia promo period with rm70++ /person for return ticket...a very cheap ticket i able to grab..heheheh...

me n hubby never been to sabah,so this is our 1st time here..
an island that v r not familiar with but the ppl there r pretty friendly...

It's another amazing Island in Malaysia...~
v took air asia early flight reach tawau n transfer to Semporna Jetty that take us almost 1 n da half hour journey..

4:30 p.m = Semporna to Mabul (Registration, payment and be gathered at 2.30pm at uncle chang's receptionist located near jetty semporna... juz beside dragon inn resort).

another 1 n da half hour journey from Semporna Jetty to Mabul Island via Speedboat from Uncle Chang Resort..
check in to our room, n enjoy the sea view out from out chalet window...









sunset n explore around mabul island ... enjoy looking at sea gypsies kids playing around.. they enjoy themself so much there with the turquoise color of sea...











hubby visit to floating kedai runcit n walk around the beautiful island....hehehe

some info about my mabul trip...

Departure tax (jetty fee) is applicable for each guest departing from Semporna to any island

RM2 = Malaysian

RM10 = Foreigners    

LAND TRANSFER                    

1 person = RM120 per way

2 person = RM60 per person per way

3 person = RM40 per person per way

4 person and above = RM30 per person per way

*this is the price of from Tawau Airport to Semporna or Sempora to Tawau Airport  


ACCOMODATION IN MABUL

Dormitory room (4 single bed, fan with private bathroom)         = RM70 per person per night include meals

Standard Double room (fan with private bathroom)                     = RM90 per person per night include meals

Air cond room (private bathroom, air cond)                                  = RM100 per person per night include meals

Chalet (double bed/twin bed, private bathroom, air cond)         = RM140 per person per night include meals

*Single supplement room = double the room rate above



Accommodation is subject to 6% government tax.



NOTE: Check in time 10am check out time 8am.

SIPADAN DAY TRIP                   

Snorkeling                   = RM540 per person

2 Dives Sipadan          = RM600 per person

3 dives Sipadan          = RM640 per person

*includes full set dive equipments/snorkeling gear, boat transfer, permit, meals & dive master.

*please send these details for the permit application : Full Name, Gender, Nationality and Passport No.



MABUL DAY TRIP       

NON Diver                                    = RM100 per person

1 Dive Mabul + 1 Dive Kapalai = RM220 per person

2 Dives Mabul + 1 Dive Kapalai = RM260 per person

*includes full set dive equipments (for diver only), boat transfer, meals.

                   

SIBUAN & MANTABUAN DAY TRIP (minimum 4 person)

NON Diver                                            = RM150 per person

1 Dive Sibuan + 1 Dive Mantabuan = RM260 per person

2 Dives  Sibuan + 1 Dive Mantabua = RM300 per person

*includes full set dive equipments (for diver only), snorkeling gear for snorkelers, boat transfer, meals.

     

MATAKING & KALAPUAN DAY TRIP (minimum 4 person)

NON Diver                                            = RM150 per person

1 Dive Mataking + 1 Dive Kalapuan = RM260 per person

2 Dives Mataking + 1 Dive Kalapuan= RM300 per person

*includes full set dive equipments (for diver only), snorkeling gear for snorkelers, boat transfer, meals.


SIAMIL DAY TRIP (minimum 4 person – depart from mabul island)

NON Diver         = RM150 per person

2 DiveS Siamil    = RM220 per person

3 Dives Siamil    = RM260 per person

*includes full set dive equipments (for diver only), snorkeling gear for snorkelers, boat transfer, meals.



KAPALAI TRIP                       

RM40 per person for boat transfer (NON DIVER)

*The trip is from Mabul at 11am.             



RENTAL SNORKELING GEAR

RM30 per day per set (mask, snorkel and fins)



DIVING COURSES (ALL DONE IN MABUL)

Open Water course = RM850

*take 3 days to complete. Price includes gears, boat transfer, instructor fee, Positive Identity Card (P.I.C) and Manual book.



Advance courses = RM850

*take 2 days to complete. Price include gears, boat transfer, instructor fee, Positive Identity Card, and Manual book.



Emergency First response (EFR) = RM500

*take 1 day to complete. Price include gears, boat transfer, instructor fee, Positive Identity Card, and Manual book.



Rescue Diver Course = RM900                    

*take 4 days to complete. Price include gears, boat transfer, instructor fee, Positive Identity Card, and Manual book.

                                          

DISCOVERY SCUBA DIVE

RM300 for 2 dives.

*first dive is skill dive and the second one is fun dive.

*only done in Mabul for those who don’t have diving license.
